![Did you know that Geoff Winningham and Jack York created a short film about Houston Wrestling that was never aired?!? Available through The Portal to Texas History database, this 34-minute film gives a beautiful glimpse into the rich Houston Wrestling scene of the 70s with featured matches and a rare interview with Paul Boesch. The theatrics of the athletes are not unlike what we see in wrestling today with the most engaging wrestlers being those with over-exaggerated facial expressions and borderline comedic mannerisms.
